Play in dropper, grips wear out so quick

"Hi there, I have quite some experiance with One Up Droppers and grips now. About the droppers, i have had some issues with play in droppers and adjusting it with larger pins. Now i noticed that my new dropper is having this issue as well (play in the lowest position). Also, I am burning through grips. the edge tears out after every single crash. I am surprised the Carbon HB is holding out fine, even with the crashes. Cheers, Leander"

So easy to get like-new performance from V3 dropper post with rebuild kit

"The OneUp V3 dropper rebuild kit is so easy to do, took me 45 minutes working slowly while being distracted. I use my dropper at least 200 times per ride, so the rebuild as necessary after about 200 hours of riding. After the rebuild the dropper is tighter, smoother, and easier to control, just like new. This is for a 210mm dropper that started out on a 2023 Trek Fuel EX size M/L, and now it is going onto a 2025 Trek Fuel+ EX size medium."

"Replaced the dropper pin kit with the oversized pins. Used the thickest ones to correct play on my V3 dropper. Corrected the excessive play enough to not notice there was play while riding. Highly recommend to do when performing maintenance."
