  • Garantie d'un an.

FAQ

Are Wave pedals lighter than the original OneUp Aluminum Pedals?

A little lighter, yes. Wave pedals weigh 355g per pair, 31g lighter than our original Aluminum Pedals.

Can I swap any parts between the original Aluminum pedals and Wave pedals?

The pins from our original Aluminum Pedal and the pins from Wave Pedals are cross-compatible, but the internals are not.

Do you offer replacement axles if I bend one?

We do not have replacement axles available separately. In our experience, if the axle is damaged, the pedal body has likely sustained enough damage that it warrants replacing.

How often do they need servicing?

We recommend servicing your Wave pedals once a season as a minimum, twice a season if you ride everyday, or anytime you feel your pedals are no longer spinning smoothly.

Do I need any special tools to service my Wave pedals?

The only special tool you need is a OneUp Pedal Bearing Nut Tool, which comes in the box with every pair of Wave pedals.

Why are the pins hollow?

The hollow hex pins are designed to self-clear mud while riding.

Are the pins height adjustable?

No, the pins are not height adjustable. The only way to run shorter pins is to install pins from our original Aluminum pedals with the washers supplied in the Pin/ Washer kit.

Why are the pedal pins angled in the pedal body?

The pins are angled to leverage the shape of the pedal body and offer maximum grip.

Is the Wave pedal rated for DH riding?

Yes, Wave pedals are rated for use on everything up to DH bikes and ebikes.

Are these pedals compatible with Crank boots?

Yes.

Wave

"Great quality pedals! Nice colour choice. New pins have better grip than old ones."

Andrej L. (5/5)

makes a difference. . .

"Best flat pedal so far - grippy and "helpy" in positioning the foot. Might not be for big foots - I'm size 43 and I feel that this is about as big as can be supported"

Jernej N. (5/5)

Pretty special pedal !

"It's odd this pedal ! You know you've got a pedal with some pretty long sharp pins inserted but when your riding it you don't feel them. But your foot stays stuck to the pedal & doesn't move. In comparison to the one-up regular flat pedal they work better. The 3 pins across the middle (spindle) section are the correct way around (they're opposite to the regular pedal) & fit the sole shape a lot better. I now have 2 pairs of these (on 2 bikes), I shall prob leave the regular one up flats on the other bike. Would I swap the regular flat peddle, difficult. If buying for a new bike which would I buy ? Definitely the wave. I have 1 pair on a xc style hardtail & use it for distance riding & another pair on a bike park bike, predominantly gravity. Different styles of riding, same pedal. Highly recommend !"

Good morning, I already wrote you a message yesterday regarding my wave pedals but there was a misunderstanding, probably due to my English. I need a replacement axle, not the pins. Would it be possible to purchase one? The pedal is perfect and my axle inexplicably bent due to contact with a very light rock. Thanks in advance.
Hi Luciano, I'm sorry to hear that's the case, can you please fill out our warranty form on the website, we can help you there. Cheers,
Good morning, I'm a loyal customer of yours. Unfortunately, yesterday I bent the left pedal pin on your Wave model with a very light blow. The pedal is perfectly intact in every part. Is it possible to purchase a replacement pin? Thanks in advance.
Hi Luciano, thanks for your message. The Wave pedals come with 10x spare pins in the box, if you need to order more then these are available to order in the spare parts section of our website. Hope this helps!
