FAQ

How does the OneUp V2 Carbon Handlebar compare to other carbon handlebars on the market in terms of comfort and responsiveness?

We have bench marked our OneUp Carbon Handlebars against the most popular carbon bars on the market and the results were a 21% increase in vertical compliance (comfort) coupled with a 28% increase in steering stiffness (responsiveness). These are more than just marginal gains and make the OneUp Carbon Handlebar one of the most comfortable and responsive bars on the market.

The V2 Carbon Handlebar is 13% more compliant than the V1 bar (800mm) and the new 760mm length is 30% more compliant than the V1 bar cut to 760mm.

Do the decals come pre-installed?

The decals do not come installed. They are shipped on two sheets with a few other decal options for you. The lasered Gloss black "ONE" logo on the bars is a guide to help you position the colors decal kit.

What are the dimensions of the OneUp V2 Carbon Handlebar?

The OneUp V2 Carbon Handlebars both have a 35mm diameter and a sweep of 8° back and 5° up.

How much does the OneUp V2 Carbon Handlebar weigh?

760x20: 220g
760x35: 220g
800x20: 235g
800x35: 235g
800x50: 265g

How does the OneUp Carbon Handlebar minimize arm pump and vibration?

The OneUp Carbon Handlebar minimizes arm pump and vibration with its patented oval shape which combines the best ride characteristics of 31.8mm and 35mm bar standards into one package. This shape maximizes steering response while minimizing arm pump and vibration.

How does the OneUp Carbon Handlebar help decrease hand pain when riding mountain bikes?

The OneUp Carbon Handlebar minimizes hand pain by providing a more comfortable and compliant ride. The bar's patented oval shape combines the best ride characteristics of 31.8mm and 35mm bar standards into one package, maximizing steering response while minimizing arm pump and vibration. This leads to less fatigue and hand pain during long rides.

How short can I cut these bars down?

The 800mm V2 bars can be cut down to a minimum of 740mm, and the 760mm V2 bars can be cut down to a minimum of 720mm. Any further and you risk clamping your controls onto the ovalized flex zone of the bar. Doing so could compromise the integrity of the bar.

What grips are compatible with the bars?

Only grips that have a single outboard clamp, such as the Ergon GP1, are not compatible. All other grips that use either dual clamps, or a single inboard clamp (like our awesome grips), are compatible.

What is the torque spec on these bars?

Max torque specs for our carbon bars is 6Nm for the stem clamp and 5Nm for the controls (brakes, shifter, and grips). Grips with a single outer clamp are also not compatible with our carbon bars.

What do the numbers on the bar mean? How do I set the bar roll correctly?

We have changed the reference lines on the V2 bars to make setting them up easier. There's a thicker line, the second one from the front, that aligns the rise of the bars directly upwards, when the line points directly up.

Some riders prefer to have the rise of the bars parallel to their forks. To set the bars up like this, just point the thicker line in the same direction as the top of the fork steerer (this will mean rolling the bars towards the back of the bike from the directly up position).

Why/how can a 760mm bar be made more compliant than a cut-down 800?

When load is applied closer to the fixed point (stem), there is less leverage on the bar. This means that the bar doesn’t need to be as strong to withstand the same magnitude of loading.

Very good product, but…

"Truly fantastic product. After the first ride, I felt the difference from my old aluminum one. It was delivered on time. I didn't give it 5 stars simply because I find it shocking to pay almost 10 euros more to simply add stickers, which you have to apply yourself; they don't come pre-applied. Other than that, it's an excellent, high-performance product."

No more arm pump

"Definitely less arm/ hand pump with this handlebar. I only wanted a little more rise, but got a lot of more fun on top"

Q&A

Dear Sir or Madam, I wanted to ask if you recommend replacing your carbon handlebars after a certain period of time? I was recently talking to a friend who flies a lot and frequently mounts and dismounts his handlebars. He said that's why he only rides carbon handlebars for two years. I'm currently riding the V1 20mm rise and am very happy with it I only remove it maybe once a year. That's why I decided to ask if you recommend this or if there's a time after which they should be replaced. would love to hear that this is not need, they great but also cost a litte. Sincerely, Claudius Baur
Thanks for your question. Changing out carbon bars ever couple years, like what your friend does, is a good move. Unfortunately, I know they are expensive! Handlebars take some force through them, and it's an important part of the bike to be confident in. I'd also suggest giving your bars a good look over if there is every an impact to them. If you'd like to grab a new set, please use the code I've attached Gratitude20_2026 to receive 20% off your next order.
Hallo, wie ist das z ulässiges Gewicht Carbon und Alulenker
Hi Andreas, We don't have an official weight limit, however I can say we have many riders using our bars that weigh over 230lbs/104KG without issue. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.  Cheers,
What is the grip and controls clamp area bar diameter of the V1 carbon bar?
Hey Tom, the grips and control area is 22.2.
Does the change of the bar change the forces and torque transmited to the carbon fork with the risk of a break? How could I know your rise bar is compatible with my fork? Thanks.
Hi Jjan! I've never heard of certain bar rises being incompatible with forks. What fork are you running?
Hi team, Quick question, I just bought Canyon Spectral onfly light emtb(18,8kg) and I already own carbon V1 handlebar and your stem, is it ok and safe to use this combo with this bike?
Hi Antun, that bar and stem combo will work with this new bike!
