Perfect service
"There are two things I want to say: 1. Quick delivery and great service overall 2. Incredible quality on the products"
The concave front of the pedal hugs the ball of your foot. The sloped back half promotes an aggressive heels-down foot position for more power and control.
After thousands of hours on the bike, 8 design iterations and 4+ years of testing, we introduced a new take on flat pedal design.
Wave uses a sealed chromoly axle system with igusâ„¢ bushings and three outboard cartridge bearings. They're fully serviceable and come with our Pedal Bearing Nut Tool.
A little lighter, yes. Wave pedals weigh 355g per pair, 31g lighter than our original Aluminum Pedals.
The pins from our original Aluminum Pedal and the pins from Wave Pedals are cross-compatible, but the internals are not.
We do not have replacement axles available separately. In our experience, if the axle is damaged, the pedal body has likely sustained enough damage that it warrants replacing.
We recommend servicing your Wave pedals once a season as a minimum, twice a season if you ride everyday, or anytime you feel your pedals are no longer spinning smoothly.
The only special tool you need is a OneUp Pedal Bearing Nut Tool, which comes in the box with every pair of Wave pedals.
The hollow hex pins are designed to self-clear mud while riding.
No, the pins are not height adjustable. The only way to run shorter pins is to install pins from our original Aluminum pedals with the washers supplied in the Pin/ Washer kit.
The pins are angled to leverage the shape of the pedal body and offer maximum grip.
Yes, Wave pedals are rated for use on everything up to DH bikes and ebikes.

"Great quality pedals! Nice colour choice. New pins have better grip than old ones."
"Best flat pedal so far - grippy and "helpy" in positioning the foot. Might not be for big foots - I'm size 43 and I feel that this is about as big as can be supported"
"It's odd this pedal ! You know you've got a pedal with some pretty long sharp pins inserted but when your riding it you don't feel them. But your foot stays stuck to the pedal & doesn't move. In comparison to the one-up regular flat pedal they work better. The 3 pins across the middle (spindle) section are the correct way around (they're opposite to the regular pedal) & fit the sole shape a lot better. I now have 2 pairs of these (on 2 bikes), I shall prob leave the regular one up flats on the other bike. Would I swap the regular flat peddle, difficult. If buying for a new bike which would I buy ? Definitely the wave. I have 1 pair on a xc style hardtail & use it for distance riding & another pair on a bike park bike, predominantly gravity. Different styles of riding, same pedal. Highly recommend !"
